In a connected world full of diverse opinions, the Demokratiewerkstatt offers a non-partisan, safe space to make sense of this variety together. The concept is built on self-directed, facilitated political education that aims to promote civic participation. People come together here with no prior requirements, to discuss respectfully. Following the principle of "neighbour educates neighbour", participants collaboratively develop creative educational offerings for their immediate communities. What began as a youth project now inspires adults at numerous locations as well.
